The wine needed time to open up. After about 90 minutes it began to show it's depth and character. I am most fond of Pessac-Leognan and the savoury, spicy, herbal envelope around roasted dark berry fruits. In the mouth still good acid and tannins holding up after 10 years. Perhaps a little simple though. Decent length finish. Phenomenal value, one of the wines bought in a dumping sale from Dio.
