Inky red with a hint of purple. Smells of rich blue fruits, licorice, kräuter and, at the very begining, a little plastic but that soon vanished. Also notes of smoke, animal and musk. Quite a complex nose on this. In the mouth rich and delicious - juicy plums, blackberries and a tangy leather sweat. Strong fine tannins with a long complex finish. I must try and get more of these.
purpurrot fast wie Tinte, Alkohol vordergründig, animalischer Duft, Schweiß, reife Frucht, Waldboden und Kräuter, dezente Holznote, sattes Tanningerüst welches nicht stört und eher gefällt, da schnalzt die Zunge, herber langer Abgang, ein Charakterwein, kantig, irgendwie exotisch, liegt wohl an den fast 100 Jahre alten Rebstöcken ;-)
Very rich nose of black cherries and dark plum. A little wet straw, or wet leaves. Also spice, paprika. Fantastic complexity in the nose. Delicious juicy tangy flavours, once again black cherries and plum. This wine packs a punch! Full but fine tannins, excellent acid and a long complex fruity lushious finish. Beut!
