Medium dark clear red purple. On the nose a nice fruit and spice balance. In the mouth once again, as by many wines in this tasting, toasted ripe dark fruit, but subdued. Tannins fine and OK acid. Good balance. The finish was long with cedar and spice in the finale. None the less a little nondescript.
