Medium dark red purple. On the nose very spicy, with pepper predominate. There is also a slightly meaty note to this wine. In the mouth classic Bordeaux - savoury dark fruits, sherbet and a little dry forrest floor. Strong tannins and acids. Very long finish puckery in the mouth, and yet somehow not bright or vibrant.
