Deep scarlet purple. Oh dear, this is the second wine in a row with the oak monster! Very rich dark fruits, blueberries. There is also fizzy lemon soda. In the mouth there is good tannin for a wine of this class. It could do with more acid. The vanilla oak is annoying, but not overwhelming. Also dark chocoloate in there. Quite OK if you don't mind oak.
Nice red and dark berry fruit with toast and bramble hints, and a smooth, chocolaty finish. Open-knit, forward and tasty. Drink now. 120,000 cases made.
