Medium to clear. Very slightly cloudy. Richly aromatic. Chocolate. Slightly sour, taste of ripe toasted cherry. Very long, with acid dominating to begin with, followed by a good dose of fruit and tannin at the end. Perhaps a little unbalanced. It was actually better straight out of the bottle that it was after airing.
