Medium to dark red with perhaps a brownish tinge. warm ripe stewed plum. Chocoalte and spice. Well ripened fruits, the wood is not overbearing. The chocolate and spice is evident in the taste too. Medium finish with juicy fruits dominating. A really nice drinking wine, fruity, warm and rich. Lets down a little on the finish. Would be interesting to compare with a Montes Alpha.
This wine is a deep purple/red colour, with sweet ripe plum fruit flavours combined with intriguing chocolate and spice characters. Maturation in oak has added length and structure to give this wine depth of character.
