Dark purple/red. Rich, inviting colors. meduim Blackcurrant , slight oak , no tanins. strong earthy fruits, Blackcurrant, meduim tanins , bitter, young. A hint of chocolate. No sign of oak. Day 2 the taste is smooth and easy. meduim length , bitter furry taste lingers, aftertaste of burnt plum. After an hour the bitterness is gone. Quite complex. It's not a bad wine, but for a cab sav I think it needs a bit more power than it has. Perhaps with age it will improve. Has a European feel to it. Needs airing. Good value.

Lontue Valley. A Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon - Big & Bold and Mouthfilling. Huge concentration of ripe blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours overlaid with mocha and cedar wood and a long flavoursome finish. A great food wine with lots of character.
