With a modest 12 hectares, Château Deyrem Valentin is surrounded by classified growths. Having regained its stride within the past few years, the property is now among the best bourgeois growths in Margaux. The 1999 vintage has a bit of Malbec, a traditional Bordeaux variety, and was matured in oak. Floral notes of violet and hortensia highlight a powerful vinous nose whereas the solid tannins on the palate will evolve into perfect harmony in the next few years.
