Initially this wine had a very stinky nose which made me worry it might have a defect. After a number of hours this disappeared leaving a nice savoury claret smell. In the mouth, nice. Classical 2005 Bordeaux flavours of tobacco, pepper and cedar with some dark berry notes. Fairly mild acids and tannins. A nice drinkable wine.
