Mike and I headed off again to Carrefour in search of some nice Bordeaux's. This is the first to be tried. Deep cloudy red. Closed nose initially, but it still needs time. Definitely ripe fruit there. In the mouth, nice, but a little watery and flat. On the mid palate the rich fruits and strong tannins start to push through. The balance is definitely good, the fruits are rich, but it just lacks a little something.
