Clear to medium red purple. Cooked plum and anseed with a little ground pepper on the nose. Fresh in the mouth, with stewed plum, blackberry and a hint of dates. Very distinct Grenache flavours here. There is a nice kick of acid, but not tart. Long finish with tart acids and quite chewy tannis. This is a refreshing and juicy wine which belies its alcohol level.
