Dark cloudy garnet purple. Dark rich aromas of very ripe cassis and blueberry. Also smoke and a little anis on the nose. Delicious and smooth in the mouth, with mild but fine tannins. It is more tangy than tart. Black and red fruits, almost a hint of cherry. Anis leaves. Medium to long fruit driven finish. This is a very pleasant, smooth, drink now wine. A little complexity but not stunning. Likely to please most people. I think there's some Shiraz or Merlot in this, because it is very smooth and delish.
