Attractive deep semi-transparent red / garnet. Right up front on the nose there is spicy pepper and black fruits - very classic. Maybe a tiny hint of meaty mulsh. Savoury and dry in the mouth with strong tannins. Acids are nicely balanced. Dark cherry and blackberry fruits last long into the finish. This is a great everyday drinking Bordeaux.
rather hard fruit nose here. Moderate flesh at best on the palate, although it is somewhat more flattering than the 2007 La Demoiselle. Plenty of hard structure, and overall a little brooding. It shows a little more substance towards the finish where it is a little more flattering.
