Dark cloudy ruby red. Initally very closed on the nose and sour in the mouth, after an hour it opened out somewhat. The acid is certainly still very present, with soft tannins and ripe but sour dark berries. Medium finish. On its own probably good, but comparted to some of the other Pessac's I bought at the same time this is a little mediocre.
