Medium clear cloudy red. On the nose pepper, minerals and stewed dark fruit. Also a light soda note and leafy goosberry. Nice complexity here. Elegant flavours of red and black fruits, but subdued and savoury. There is also a little smoky chilli. The tannins are smooth and integrated with medium acids. Very long finish with excellent complexity. This was one of the few of the evening that are approachable in its youth.
