Fairly dark clear red. Good complexity with pepper, spice, black berries and a hint of citrus on the nose. Savoury flavours like most in this tasting - something leafy, along with soft and smooth dark plum, but really not much fruit. Very strong tannins and acid, indicating this wine's youth. The finish is toasty and rich.
