Clear tawny red brown. There was a lot of perfume immediately after opening, with a little carbonization. A day later it is more closed. The aroma is of candied cherries. In the mouth quite light bodied with smooth but tart acids. Leather and beef flavours. Pretty short finish. I could imagine this being nice lightly chilled. Easy drinking.
