This wine has languished in my cellar for years, a victim of my predjudice against german reds. Thus, ironically it got the same treatment as my most treasured Bordeaux's, stored snugly in a dark corner. It has a nice Pinot red transparency, with a rusted rim. The fruit is lushious roasted cherry, stewed plum and a hint of leather. The tannins are fine but subtle, as are the acids. That herbal, roasted note lasts for a long finish. Quite elegant - I like it. 0.5 lt Bottle
