Tawny red brown with a cloudy center, so the wine is showing some age. More concentrated toasted dark plum aromas than I had expected. Delicious in the mouth, with nicely balanced acid and tangy toasted fruit. It has a distinct pinot flavour. A little light on tannins. Very pleasant drinking. This is a wine I would buy again.
