Dark cloudy red/purple. Wild spices and cow dung on the nose upon opening. The stinky note vanished after an hour of airing revealing aromas of stewed plums. In the mouth there in wonderfully integrated cedar and smooth toasted plums and cinnamon. The tannins are strong and fine, and there is an excellent acidic backbone. Very long and balanced finish. This is a nice full bodied wine with fresh red juicy notes.
