Dark but clear ruby red. Mulsh and mushroom on the nose, along with indistinct dark berries. Initially smooth in the mouth, with tangy sour black currants. Medium in length with fruit dominating the end. Good solid tannins.
Medium dark ruby red. On the nose there are dark, ripe blackberries and cherries. Not a lot more immediately after opening. Nothing barnyardy at all. Nice smooth dark berry flavours in great balance with a good dose of mouth puckering acids and fine grained tannins. Long finish. This is a well made, well balanced wine.
