Clear ruby red. The nose is initally quite closed. Notes of fresh warm red fruits and faint hints of stone mushrooms. In the mouth it is sour and puckery. Fine grained tannins. Good length and nice complexity. Needs decanting. On day two the nose is more interesting, with rasberry soda and chicken feathers. Savoury in the mouth with good acid.
