The nose is quite closed. Initially there are vegetative notes of goosberries, followed by dung, cherries and musk. There's a nice twang to this wine as toasted cherries and plums mix with acid in the mouth. Light on tannins and the finish is only average. Easy drinking.
Medium to light red, slightly hazy in texture. Nose still closed. It seems pretty classical Rhône Syrah - blackberries and spice. The fruit seem a little underripe, a bit too much acid.
