The cork is showing signs of deterioration and there is considerable sediment in the neck of the bottle. Wine had reached 75% of the way through the cork. Milky red with a distinctive golden brown hue. On the nose you get dark cherry and dusty floorboards. Medium Bodied. The fruits are dark and toasted, but hard to identify, perhaps cooked strawberry. The finish is a mix of toasted fruit and bitterness of acid. Seems a little light on tannin to me. Overall really nice when I want a medium bodied drop without too much fruit.
