Dark cloudy red in hue. Ripe dark aromas of cassis, caramel and licorice. On the nose it is pleasant and strong. Medium bodied flavours with fairly strong acids and fine grained tannins. The fruits are not oversweet, but toasted, indicating good ripeness and body. Good length in the finish, but unbalanced with acid too dominant. Not bad at all though for the price. The highlight is the nose.
