Medium clear ruby red. Spicy nose full of cedar and herbs. In the mouth there are predominantly savoury notes. The barrique is not at all overbearing - a pleasant surprise. Tannins are soft and fine, with enough acid to give this wine a good balance. Medium to long finish. It's not too heavy bodied, so it will work well with more delicate meats.
