Dark red, cloudy toward the center. Cherries and licorice. Dusty. Strong acids and roughish tanins. Burnt toasted cherry flavours. Medium to long with a bitter ending. I like it, although the balance could be better. The grapes were maybe slightly underripe at harvesting.
