The nose has a mixture of wet animal fur and red berries. Oak is being a little pushy, but not over the top. There are aromas that remind me of vegemite. The mouth is rich with forest berries and smooth full tannins. Savoury yeast notes on the mid palate. (For the uninitiated, that is what vegemite is made of). Perhaps the acid is a little too soft. Long fruit dominated finish. It is however somewhat unbalanced. Lushious is a word that suits this wine.
No detailed rating. From memory it was pleasant but not complex.
