Dark but clear red brown. Sprightly juicy aromas - slightly musty. Toasted plum. Light and sour. Subdued but slightly underripe fruits. Fine but mild tannins. It loses the sourness as it opens out. Long, with acids at the start and the fruit coming out at the end. This wine needs time to air.
