This wine has mellowed nicely since I last tried it. Rich toasted dark plum with puckery acid. Soft fine tannin now. Long, fruit dominated finsh. Perhaps a little watery / light bodied.

Deep cloudy red with a faint purple tint. Ripe to overripe dark cherry. Almost sherry hints. Maybe dark blackberry. No wood. A bit of licorice. Light dusty note. Fresh smooth and juicy. The strong fruits are just of the right ripeness. A little lacking in acid but has pushy tannins as it opens out. Medium and pleasant. Strong coarse tannins coming out at the end.

Notes
Alcohol: 14%
A wine made with Garnacha grapes from hundred-year-old vines. The low yields of these vines result in a wine with body, good structure and balance which is smooth and velvety.
Ruby red with purple hues, lively and intense. Clean, pleasant, fruity aromas of red berries and violets.
The ideal companion to red meats, game, chicken casseroles and pasta.
