Dark red with a bit of brown. warm. Slightly subdued. Rich fruity dark and toasted. Ripe to overripe fruit. Very peppery. Dark strong juicy toasted berries. Coarse tanins and average acidity. Medium to long. I like this wine. It's a bit juicier than the Tatachilla. Heavy but medium complicated.

Notes - The grapes for the Wyndham Estate BIN 444 Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced predominantly from Wyndham's premium vineyards. Selected Cabernet Sauvignon parcels are matured in a selection of new and old French and American Hogsheads for 14 months prior to blending, stabilising and filtration. The wine is medium to full depth, purple with vibrant crimson hues and has distinctive ripe blackcurrant and cassis fruit supported by a subtle savoury oak background on the nose. Medium to full bodied on the palate with ripe blackcurrant and Cabernet flavours combined with delicate chocolate / smokey oak. Grape and oak tannins are harmonised to provide a lingering, but soft, structured finish.
