Rich dark red, perhaps a deep purple tinge. Great spicy peppery licorice aromas. Juicy toasted dark berries. Typical toasted ripe but not overripe grapes. Nice long length with good balance all the way to the end. Excellent balance. More in the direction of the Penfolds than the Tatachilla.
