Medium red. Fresh ripe dark cherry & chocolate. Ripe mellow cherries. Interesting flavours from this apulian grape varieties. Almost fizzy indicating perhaps a very slight second fermentation. Short, fruity. Oozing the warmth of the year. Good value fruity, drink now wine. Low on tannin and acid as was common in 2003. I really quite like these grape varieties. It produces a fairly light but full bodied red.
