Deep Red right to the rim. Vanilla, mint dark berries. bitter, toasted berries rounded out with fruitiness. fine tannins. Long, complex. A nice representative of right bank Bordeaux. Perhaps the fruit is a little light.
An exotic nose, with dark black, oaky fruits. Plump palate, with oak still evident, but lovely style. Moderate concentration. Nice grip. This is lovely, and I prefer it to the 2000. Needs three to four years. 16.5+/20
Very beautiful Bordeaux, very interesting. A beautiful dress ruby, a rather aromatic nose releasing from the spice and blackberries, blackcurrant notes of, timbered. In mouth, the impression of silky is supported by rich and firm tannins. The latter contribute to balance and structure this wine. Thus a well balanced, sharp, generous, flexible and round wine with a beautiful rather constant final.
