Medium golden red brown, not overly dark at the center. Spicy red fruits, with vanilla and a little licorice. Rich ripe toasted fruits, strong and round with mild tannins and acid, spice and chocolate. Stong and brazen, although the tannins and acid could be stronger. Great toasted tangy fruitiness with plenty of variety. It's a wine for drinking now though, since the tannin won't give it much more life.
