Medium red. Perhaps a little purple. Rich ripe blackcurrants, licorice and spice. Oak. Full bodied with strong tannins. Ripe but not overly fruity. Long and tangy with powdery tannins. This wine softens after a hour or so of airing.and even more after 2 days. Young and strong, with the brutishness of the cab sav and the spicy fruits of the shiraz. A good little aussie. The best I've tasted under 6 Euros. It can hold it's own with strong food, like roast lamb.

Bottle Label: Two Australian classics, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz are blended together to create a full-bodied red wine of great character. Deep rich red in colour, with aromas of plums, dark berries and complex oak. The palate offers a balanced blend of rich fruit, ripe tannins and subtle oak.
