Nice ruby color with a hint of brown. Strong musty blackcurrant. strong & fruity. Perhaps cloves. Has characteristics of a Bordeaux blend. medium length, light tanins. Smooth. Quite nice. Interesting flavours. Strong nose. There must be a different type of grape variety here. Perhaps a portugese grape?

Alcohol: 13% I don't know what grape varieties are in this wine. I haven't found any Internet references, but Lauran Cabaret, the vinyard produces wines with Syrah, Carignan and Grenache, so it could well be a combination of these varieties.
