Dark red, brown tinge. strong fresh spices. Very interesting, but damn hard to identify. Cloves, leather. tastes like it smells. Prune, fig, light tanins. meduim finish. First impression is that it is not complex. Let's wait and see what a litte oxidation does. Quite surprising, I was expecting something like a Zinfandel, but this is fresh, spicy and, well, different. Almost a little like a Bago. Way overpriced. On the net it costs 4.99.

Intensives Rubinrot mit dunklem Kern, voller, samtiger Geschmack, in der Nase süßliche Fruchtaromen wie Brombeeren und Zwetschken. Am Gaumen geschliffene, weiche Tannine.

This wine is produced In the Salento area located in Apulia, the south west part of Italy, made by the famous grape of the area – Primitivo also known as Zinfandel. It has a deep ruby red colour with violet reflex and intense perfume, harmonious and velvety taste. Best served a room temperature with spicy food, seasoned cheeses and Mediterranean dishes.
