Tried the last bottle with Mike. There is an earthy oxidised note to the nose. Fairly subdued fruit. The licorice is still there in the background. Puckery acids, tanins are not as coarse as the 2000. Quice Juicy with a tang from the acid. Also much longer. Still good.

I opened a bottle with Andre Hohman and drank without a detailed rating. Deep Red/Brown. Earthy, licoriceI The earthiness comes from old barrels. good tanins. Nice oak & fruit. Very nice and round. Good length, good fruits.

Dichtes dunkles Rubin; sehr duftige Noten mit viel Fliederaroma, etwas Holunderbeere, kommt sehr frisch; am Gaumen betonte Gewürznoten, wirkt aber etwas spröde, trocknet im Finale aus, nach grünen Nüssen.
