Deep red with a bronze tone. Thick. Super rich ripe blackberries. Complex aromas of leather, licorice, spice. Beautiful balance of warm ripe dark fruit, tannins & acids nice. Caramel. Long, with a tangy oaky toasted fruit ending. Tannins lasting long on the palate. Excellent. Very much on par with the 2000.

Inky brown red. Rich aromas of blackberries, mullberries and plum. Very fruit driven nose. The palate is more complex, with softer smoother flavours. The tannins have subsided and the acid is most noticable on the mid to end palate. It seems to me that there is a slight musty note from oxidization, so we may be tasting this as it begins its decline. Still very good drinking.

Purple Black. Residue in Bottle. This wine MUST be decanted. An absolute bombshell! Earthy. Strong Alcohol. Like a rainforrest. Strong tanins. Great Wine. Powerful. Not subtle, this one slaps you in the face. I tasted this at eWine.

Purpurrot. Waldbeeren satt, Waldboden, Fruchtbombe! Schmeckt wie er riecht, beerig, wuchtig und fruchtig. Langer Abgang. Ein fabelhafter Wein. ★★★★↑

Deep dark red, almost black. Super. Well rounded. Rasberry, toasted black cherry. Beautiful balance. Very very long lasting with thick fruit to the end and tangy acid and tannin. Has that strong, punch you in the face taste that you expect from a good Tatta. I bought the 1999 on the way up to millmerran. Quite amazing that Toowoomba has vintage Tattachilla. We drank it later that week at Jim and Linda's
