Spicy pepper with a pleasant cedar tone. This wine is dominated by spicy toasted flavours, with very subdued fruits. Stong acidity unbalances here, with little tannin and intimidated fruits.
Quite transparent warm golden red. Initially I thought it to be great value at 7.99. After comparing with others, I think it is perhaps a little overrated. It lacks roundness and balance. Would be good with savoury sweet dishes, such as garlic prawns.
