Red/Brown. Not especially opaque. Looks as though it will be light. Pepper. Light smell of black cherries. Hint of oak. . Little berries, bitter. It improves slightly after about 30mins. The fruits start to come out. short, bitter, aftertaste of tanins. Otherwise reasonably rounded. It's OK for less than 5 Euros, but it once again shows that you really need to pay more for a decent Australian Shiraz.

I like the licorice in this wine. Otherwise an average Shiraz. Cab. They've overdone the oakiness a bit, which is typical for this class of aussie. Better than the 2002. Dark Red. Ripe dark berries with inticing licorice in the background. Vanilla, ripe dark berries, smooth but unimposing. Licorice again. Quite long, but simple. Average tannins but low acid. Ripe fruits.
