Dark Red purple\. spicy lightly toasted ripe dark berries. Note of anis. Not at all smelly. Rich intense tangy toasted berries. Well ripe. Long tangy bitter finish. The tannins are a little supressed, but still very good. Impressive. Rich and intense like many 2003's but good complexity and length.
Vinified by the team of Pape Clement, Fombrauge offers a very beautiful tannic structure and a beautiful fruit freshness. Fombrauge is in the heart of quality.
Bernard Magrez makes here one of its best wines ever with this Fombrauge 2002. Delicately oaky, very fruity, full, a beautiful Saint-Emilion.
