Deep Purple Red. Ripe roasted fruits. Ripe black currant with a distinctive roasted note. Soft balanced tanins, not too acidic. Perhaps a tic too watery. Long finish, good strong tanins, with a mildly acidic ending. This wine can be cellared for a few years. Typical Bordeaux complexity, ripe grapes, good balance of tanins and acidity.
This is a beauty. Lovely aromas of berries, currants and cherries follow through to full-bodied palate, with juicy tannins and a long finish.
A better nose than expected: raisin, fruit-cake and a little brett. A forward wine, good acidity with a good grip. Moderate black fruit intensity with fine balance overall. This is an attractive simple wine.
